PROFESSIONAL PACKING
All artworks are packed using professional, industry-standard materials appropriate to the medium and value of the work.
RISK OF LOSS
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Risk of loss and title transfer to the buyer once the artwork is tendered to the shipping carrier (FOB Shipping Point).
- Sever Gallery is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage occurring during transit once the carrier has taken possession of the artwork.
SHIPPING INSURANCE
Shipping insurance may be included in the shipping fee or offered as an optional add-on, depending on the transaction.
Important: If insurance is optional and declined by the buyer, Sever Gallery assumes no liability for transit-related damage or loss. Uninsured shipments are sent at the buyer's risk. Insurance coverage is the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.
AS-IS SHIPMENT CONDITION
All artworks are sold and shipped in their documented condition at the time of dispatch. Natural variations, inherent material characteristics, or minor imperfections are not considered defects.
DAMAGE CLAIMS
To initiate a damage or loss claim, the buyer must:
- Notify Sever Gallery within 24–48 hours of delivery
- Provide clear photographic evidence of external packaging
- Provide clear photographic evidence of internal packaging
- Provide clear photographic evidence of the damaged artwork
Failure to comply with these requirements may result in denial of the claim.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Sever Gallery ships worldwide. International buyers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees imposed by their country.
